Coronavirus: Germany, France accuse US of confiscating face mask

 Germany and France have accused the US of confiscating millions of face masks and protective gear made for them. Both countries have labeled it 'modern theft'. Earlier, France had also accused the US of buying masks made for it in China.

                                    

According to a report published by the German administration in the British Guardian newspaper, two million N95 masks were sent to the United States while being moved from one plane to another in Thailand. German Interior Minister Andreas Gijel said, "This behavior by the US during the global crisis is not appropriate at all." There were also reports in German media that a Chinese company had made masks for the American company 3M. But the US company 3M has clarified that it does not have any information to reveal that the face masks made for the company have been confiscated. The company has no information to make a face mask for the Berlin Police.
