Former captain Sunil Gavaskar revealed, toughest bowler he had face in his career

Former opener and Indian captain Sunil Gavaskar has always been India's batting icon. In his career, he always batted fearlessly in front of the dangerous bowling lineup of West Indies and also faced the world famous swing bowling of Pakistan. Despite facing a low height, he faced the world's tall bowlers strongly. Meanwhile, he has told which bowler he faced the most in playing in Test cricket.  

Speaking to former Pakistan player Rameez Raja, Gavaskar said it was a tough challenge to face Richard Hadley's pace and swing in New Zealand. It has been difficult for me to face Hadley on the New Zealand tour in 1981. With this, Gavaskar also said that he faced one of the toughest bowling of his career on the tour of Pakistan in 1982–83. He said that every single spell thrown by Imran Khan and Sarfaraz Nawaz was challenging. No one had seen or heard of reverse swing in those days. Playing the balls that were swinging was quite difficult.

Former India captain Sunil Gavaskar recently made fun of former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar when he took the initiative to play a series between India and Pakistan between the corona virus. He said that there is a possibility of snowfall in Lahore than this series takes place. Gavaskar has said that the chances of snowfall in Lahore are high, but in the current situation a bilateral cricket series between India and Pakistan cannot be played. Gavaskar told former Pakistan batsman Rameez Raja on his YouTube channel, "Snowfall in Lahore is more likely than a bilateral series between India and Pakistan".
