Kulgam Encounter: Security forces kill four terrorists, two soldiers also injured in Kulgam encounter



Srinagar, In Jammu and Kashmir, security forces have killed four militants hiding there in a fierce encounter near Khur Butt Pur in Kulgam district of South Kashmir. Two army personnel were also injured in this encounter. The four slain terrorists are said to be local. Of these, three have been identified, while one has not yet been identified. All four terrorists were from the Hizbul Mujahideen organization, while the injured soldiers have also been admitted to the hospital where they are undergoing treatment.

According to officials, these terrorists were involved in the killing of four civilians in Kulgam during the last fortnight. Three of the four terrorists killed have been identified as Shahid Ahmed resident Pambai, Adil Chumb resident Khul and Ejaz Naiku resident Chimar. All three are residents of Kulgam district. The fourth terrorist has not yet been identified. The army has finished the operation and taken the bodies of the four terrorists and the weapons recovered from them.


Indian security forces had received intelligence that some terrorists were hiding in Manjgam area of ​​Kulgam sector of Kashmir. Based on intelligence, he conducted a search of the entire area. Seeing themselves surrounded, the terrorists started firing on the security forces. Army soldiers also fired. After a long encounter, 4 terrorists were killed.
