Charges laid in connection with death of injured man dropped off at hospital
Calgary police have laid charges in connection with a July incident that saw an injured man die after being dropped off at the hospital. On July 24, police said a man in his early 20s was dropped off at the Peter Lougheed Centre's emergency department at 4:30 a.m. That man, Mayiel Deng Kiir, died of injuries that police said were sustained during a confrontation. On Thursday, police said they had arrested Samuel Kong Liong, 21, in connection with the incident. He was charged with manslaughter. H
