Injured Kansas RB Hishaw to be out ‘extended period of time’; also, Potter leaves team

Hishaw suffered an undisclosed injury and was taken to the hospital during the fourth quarter of Saturday’s win over Iowa State. Also of news Tuesday: Coach Lance Leipold confirms that veteran linebacker Gavin Potter has left the KU program.
